As NHO introduces new column for readers to access medical advice
Got a health question? Allow NHO to help. From Monday, August 15, our new column “Ask The Doctor” will be offering practical, straight-from-the-heart advice to readers on their pressing health problems while also giving tips on different medical conditions.
“Ask The Doctor” will be anchored by a public health expert, Head of Department, Community and Preventive Medicine at General Hospital Ifako Ijaiye, Lagos State, Dr. Ime Okon. She is a medical practitioner of many years standing. She worked in different fields of Internal Medicine , Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Paediatrics, Obs and Gyn before settling for Community Health as a Specialty. She’s a senior and well travelled Physician and the immediate Past Secretary of the Nigerian Medical Association, Lagos State.
The Doctor will also be providing life saving tips on healthy living and preventive health care.
