The survey is designed to examine the distribution of HIV disease in the country, to assess the coverage and impact of HIV services on the population level and to measure HIV-related risk behaviours. Ag NAFDAC DG dispels rumour on 42 '"banned" antimalarials The Acting Director General of National Agency for Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Mrs Yetunde Oni has just ended a media briefing to dispel rumour that 42 banned anti-malaria medicines were circulating in the country. Mrs Oni announced that the alleged banned drugs are oral monotherapies which are not recommended for treatment of malaria in Nigeria.
