The 3rd Annual world Diabetes Foundation, Podiatry Institute and Rainbow Specialist Clinic Workshop on diabetic foot began today in Lagos amidst revelations that diabetes is on the increase in Nigeria as in other parts of the world.
experts at the event include Prof. Andrew Clarke a founding member of the first private centre for Diabetes in South Africa,Johannesburg, Dr Rahn A. Ravenell, Head of Podiatry team from the Podiatry Institute, USA; Dr Abiola Oki, Resident Physician, Comprehensive Podiatry Medicine, Foot, Ankle and Leg Reconstructive Surgery, Mercy Hospital, Miami, Florida USA among others.
