Health minister convenes emergency National Council meeting
The Hon. Minister of Health, Prof Isaac Adewole has convened an Emergency National Council on health meeting to discuss the on-going Lassa Fever outbreak in the country.
The meeting , which will also witness the inauguration of the National Lassa Fever Action committee will take place at the Rotunda Hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 10:00am.
A statement from the ministry said all States’ Health Commissioners for Health, and CMDs/MDS of Tertiary Health Facilities are expected to attend.
