Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari tests positive to COVID-19

Mr. Abba  Kyari,  the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari was, on Tuesday, March 24,  has tested positive to coronavirus, just as the president was confirmed negative.

Kyari, had travelled to Germany on Saturday March 7, where he reportedly met with officials of Siemens in Munich on the Nigerian expansion programme.

He was also in Egypt  for a meeting on the Nigerian Electricity Regulation Commission, along with the Commission’s  executive chairman, Prof. James Momoh.

He also attended meetings at the Villa after his return to the country.

Kyari was said to have started coughing during a meeting on Sunday at the Aso Rock Villa, fueling speculation he could have the virus.

He is however showing no symptoms yet apart from the occasional cough.
