Kidnappers release Irrua Specialist Hospital CMD
Nine days after he was kidnapped, the Chief Medical Director of Irrua Specialist hospital, Edo State, Prof. Sylvanus Okogbeni, was released yesterday,.
Okogbenin was abducted at Ramat Park in Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area of the state last Monday on his way to Benin.
Two policemen attached to the CMD were killed by the assailants as they attempted to rescue him to safety.
News of his release was confirmed by the Edo State commissioner of police, Danmallam Mohammed, who also informed that the CMD was not harmed byhis abductors.
