CSM situation report in states
… Zamfara leads with 2, 337 cases, 262 deaths
As at April 5, 2017, Zamfara State reported the highest number of Cerebrospinal meningitis (CSM) cases, put at 2,337 with 262 deaths from 14 Local Government Areas, according to the latest situation report by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), National Agency for Primary Health Care Development Agency ( NPHCDA ), UNICEF and the World Health Organisation (WHO). The state is followed by Sokoto State with 1,046 cases and 61 deaths from 18 Local government areas of the state. Below is the summary of the epidemic in the states.
