According to experts, the human body is not designed to be still for a long time. Every part must be kept running or active otherwise the individual may end with obesity and several other health problems. In fact, the American Heart Association (AHA) recommends that all adults must get a minimum of 150 minutes of moderate physical activity or at least 75 minutes of vigorous physical activity (or a combination of both) each week.
It is also known that regular physical activity helps to reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke, Type 2 diabetes and certain forms of cancer as well as improve balance and reduce depression in adults and older adults.
Unfortunately, not many people can indulge in physical exercise or activities that can help keep the body shape. But this should not really be a problem. NHO has the secret to staying in top shape all year round: Dance. Yes, you can dance yourself to good health!
Before you say you don’t know how, perhaps you should listen to the experts. Anyone and everyone can dance, no matter the state of your health (except in some critical conditions) and whether old or young, You can do it any time too, irrespective of the weather.

Healthy heart: Studies have shown that dance has a good effect on the heart, especially for people at risk of cardiovascular disease. An Italian study actually showed that dancing is as good as taking a walk of riding a bike or other forma of exercises needed to keep the heart in good shape.
Stress Reduction: In these days of economic depression and severe cash crunch, dancing could be what you need to cope with the daily stress both at home and at work. Dancing has also been identified as a good treatment for depression. This is because it improves the individual’s mood s it produces natural antidepressants like.

Dance offers so much benefits you’ll almost kick yourself for not making it a regular part of your life. But it’s never too late. Start now, even in your room!
